The recommended dose of melatonin when used with the intention of falling asleep faster is 1.5-2 mg, which is approximately equivalent to 8-10 puffs. This is an approximate amount due to the variety of product uptake by a given person, unequal inhalation.

People with particular problems with falling asleep may take a larger dose of the substance, but not more than 10 mg of melatonin, which is about 50 inhalations.

The effect of the product should occur up to an hour after taking the substance, but it cannot be strictly defined and may differ from person to person.
